MSEgui uses the same unified, Unix-style filepath syntax on all platforms (on a multi-boot setup, Windows drives can be mounted under the root, e.g. c: as /c:/); a file path edit widget also accepts and auto-converts the native Windows style (c:\path\filename.ext), and copying a path to the clipboard converts it to the current system's style. Setting fdo_sysfilename displays the path in the current system's style instead of the unified form; the stored value is unaffected and stays in unified form.
